Cherry Blossoms in Tokyo – The best places for hanami in 2023 (PART 2)

Cherry blossom season came and went so fast, but we were lucky enough to see enough to fill two blog posts with! Please check out my previous post for the first pictures of the blooms. I have organised these pictures into locations, so if you’re wondering where the best spots to see cherry blossoms in Tokyo are, I’m hoping you’ll be able to look at these pictures and decide for yourself. Personally, I think the Imperial Palace was my favourite Tokyo hanami spot, however everywhere we saw them they were gorgeous, from the ones outside stations, to the ones lining the streets, to the massive ones in beautiful Japanese gardens. I think we really made the most of our first time meeting with full bloom sakura in Japan (if you couldn’t tell already ha), and I can’t wait for next year so we can see these flowers again, maybe more towards the mountains and countryside. SIDENOTE: Some pictures were taken on different days at the same spot, so I’ve grouped these together. Hope you like the pictures as much as we do!
